Greek duo Nikos and Stelios (aka Ailo) have managed to produce an excellent almost east meets west album in Concepts complete with some of the most mind and soul embracing electronica you're music collection has been screaming for.

The opening track Chronos is presented with somewhat subtle abstract elements that becomes increasingly melodic and harmonius as the piece progresses into orchestratal electronica. This inventiveness is something that the Ailo project exudes with innovation and excellence throughout the album but brought to our attention from track one.

Other favourites for me include the magnificently produced and arranged You and the very cleverly composed audio wonderment that is Contribution for a healthier mind. Then there's the rather brilliant Subculture complete with quite engaging fem vox and percussion bits that keep you in the grip of the artist's content domain. The epitaph on this album has to be Equilibria etheria a brilliantly conceived title for an equally brilliantly composed piece of music.

I can't wait for their next release.. simply because this one is so truly engaging and something no sane minded music lover could possibly be without.
