Well, here we are.. Issue 1, Volume 1, numero uno of the online version of Something Instrumental brought to you by the team that gave you IOM (International Online Music magazine) and the IOMAs (International Online Music Awards) for the past five years.

As well as publishing reviews, features, and news related to today's incredibly inventive and often visionary instrumental genres, we'll also be focusing attention on the music that started it all particularly during the 1970s and 1980s.

We'll be looking at some of the technologies involved, and we'll be talking to the independent and major labels, recording artists, and producers who regularly turn fantastic inspiration and concepts into some of the most amazing soundscapes ever to come out of your speakers. We'll also be having the occasional chat with the record stores who specialize in getting this music to you and of course we'll be talking to you.. the music buyer, the listener, the awe inspired!

There's a group of us here who share the same unbridled love and passion for excellence in instrumental music and who are prepared to do their absolute best to make everyone aware of it's existence as well as it's inspirational, therapeutic, and spiritually uplifting value in our daily lives.
